This past week the General director has had an opportunity to visit one of the Step out Mission teams which have going out to various churches within the union. Here he reflects on this and challenges us to pray for them and also to consider the missional relationships which we could have.

It leads with the report on the Baptist Union first ever council residential with remit at looking at the future vision of the Baptist Union of Scotland. The key word from that time together being “Building Missional Relationships”.

At the AGM it was mentioned that the SBLPA had been afforded a seat on the Baptist Union council. The council meeting on the 18th and 19th May will be a strategic residential conference with the Baptist Union’s new General  Director, Alan Donaldson at Gartmore House.  Glen Cartwright will be representing us at this conference. The Council of the Baptist Union of Scotland appointed Rev.
