Current Series Relevance or Relic (1st -30th June)
The theme will unpack not just preaching and communication, but ‘how’ we do church – are we truly biblically relevant or are we in fact perceived more and more as relics from a bygone age? Members will be blogging on traditions that perhaps hamper us, issues that can cause tension – such as drama in church, dress, use of media clips, forms of outreach – and how we might be more relevant? These will include Biblical reflections on how we deal wisely and sensitively with such tensions and the whole issue of change. Why not take a moment each day to read and reflect on what would the Spirit might be saying to us through each blog? The full series can be accessed here
Developing Church (4th April – 2nd May)
Jesus rose again! What a Triumph! Following this victorious event, it is amazing to see the way the church develops in those early days. It wasn’t plain sailing – they often went through uncharted waters but they came through. Come and hear the story of the developing church
Exploring Worship (1st-28th February)
Refflections on the theme of worship and the various elements of planning and things to be considered as we seek plan for a service where God’s people gather to worship. This series will help us think and reflect on a key theme in the life of the church. These thoughts we trust will be of encouragement to all worshippers and in particular preacher and worship leaders. See the full series here
Advent 2009 (1st December – 25th December 2009)
