Where can I get some resources for preaching?
The following links are to some Christian websites which we hope will be of interest to you.
- Scottish Baptist College – have a range of courses of interest to lay preachers. New to their menu of courses is their proposal to run an evening course on preaching, specifically aimed at lay preachers, church preaching teams, associate or youth pastors, or others looking to explore their gifts. - 2 Timothy 4 Trust - A Trust formed in 2009 to help encourage excellent preaching in Scottish Churches. Preaching that is Biblical, Spiritual, Impactful, Evangelistic, Equipping, and Engaging. View their website for more information.

- Bible Society – Our task as a preacher is to help people learn more about the bible. This website and organisation is a real resourece for helping you in that task in keep with the motto the Bible is “worth knowing. worth sharing. worth living.”
http://www.biblesociety.org.uk - RUN Network - network which seeks to encourage churches to communicate to the contemporary culture. They seek to resource, envision and network. - The Baptist Union of Scotland - The Scottish Baptist Lay Preachers Association is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Scotland (B.U.S.) On this site, you can find out about the activities of the B.U.S., as well as links to the websites of some of the member churches.
- The Association of Baptist churches in Ireland – The website for Association of Baptist Baptist churches in the Republic of Ireland website.
- The Baptist Union of Great Britain – The http://www.baptist.org.uk for Baptist Union of Great Britain links Baptist churches in England and Wales.
- BMS World Mission – This site provides information about the work of Baptist world mission throughout the world. Why not come & have a look at the the site.
- RESOURCINGCHURCHES.ORG.UK - An online resource for churches in Scotland helping to equip congregations in their everyday congerational life. A resurce which has been endorsed by the Baptist Union of Scotland & other denominations. In particular useful on the website is the events in their diary page.
http://www.resourcingchurches.org.uk - The Evangelical Alliance - The home site for the http://www.eauk.org, to which many Baptists churches are affiliated. The site contains a range of useful resources.
- Scottish Christian Website – This website seeks to give information about what is happening in Christian circles in Scotland and has some useful links to churches & prganisations in Scotland who have websites. If you are thinking of setting up a church website, this could be a good place to check out what others have done.
