September 28th, 2011Our first Workshop is taking place on Saturday 15th. It is part of a series of six workshops which will help develop excellence in preaching. These are days worth attending. The day will be separated into three sessions:
Session 1 Sharpening our Knowledge - Preaching from the historical books (Deans Buchanan)
Session 2 Preaching – Sermon and Illustration (Andy Scarcliffe)
Session 3 Masterclass – Technology and Preaching (Sandy Weddell)
Facilators:
Deans Buchanan was our 2011 conference speaker and previously pastor at Newton Mearns Baptist Church.
Andy Scarcliffe until recently was Mission adviser. He is now pastor of Portobello Baptist Church, Edinburgh.
Sandy Weddell is pastor of Easterhouse Baptist Church.
